In January 2014 I visited Dinton Pastures for the first time in a year.
As I walked past the boating area and over a bridge I came to another bridge and in front of me was a muddy foreground and sticks for trees, but I saw a beautiful summery scene with a few spring flowers and clean water running under the bridge.
My love for painting started when I was a child. I led a very sophisticated jet setting cosmopolitan lifestyle from childhood and I grew up living and travelling around Europe and many more countries. As an adult it didn’t appeal to me to live in one place, so I moved around a lot living at many different addresses in Berkshire and Surrey. My Inspiration To paint Landscapes My travels throughout my childhood opened my eyes to the beautiful world around me, and I observed from age 14 as a passenger in the family car once ,as we drove from Turin, into and through Provence, and then to our final destination, Almadraba in Spain. how each country is identified by its landscape. because they drastically changed from country to...

Hi Emily thank you. It was the first one I worked on in the series. I painted it from a photo I took in the dead of winter which was drab and dull and I saw this painting in my minds eye as I took the photo. A bit of imagination later the painting was born.
